Today's pictures reminded me of these old tarantula pictures I took a while back at home. I think this one will always be one of my favorite pictures - certainly my favorite spider picture! For some reason I feel the lens is some how protective, though the camera only covers a portion of my face. This false sense of security makes me a braver person behind a camera than in front.
This makes me itchy just looking at the picture. You sure are brave Mary. And I don't ever want to go to Pindale again now after seeing the HUGE tarantula.
